Scholastic Hi Q is an academically-based game show featuring high school teams from the Southern Illinois area. It's a single elimination tournament in which 32 teams compete.

Scholastic Hi Q provides area schools an excellent opportunity to display their academic skills while promoting school spirit.

Exemplifying the public educational and informational mission of SIUC, Scholastic HiQ is a fun and exciting way of demonstrating the importance of a broad-based education.

The quest for knowledge is an enriching lifelong endeavor. and the teens featured on this program showcase those who have chosen to accept this challenge--the best and the brightest of Southern Illinois.
