Scholastic Hi-Q welcomes our new host

Scholastic Hi-Q welcomes a new host for the 2006-2007 season. Thad Jackson, a graduate student at SIU-C pursuing a master’s degree in Professional Media Practice, has always wanted to be a game-show host and he’ll have that opportunity this year on Scholastic Hi-Q. Throughout the last few years in SIU’s Radio/Television program, Thad has done radio play-by-play for Saluki Women’s Basketball and Softball. He’s also had the opportunity to do Television Color Commentary for SIU Football and Men’s Basketball games. Thad also produces video highlights for Saluki Athletics and his work has appeared nationally on “The Piano Wizard” infomercial and “JamCam Chronicles”. When Thad gets time to go home to Galesburg, Illinois, he spends most of his time with his friends and family – especially his little nieces and nephew.
