![]() Overview, About the Authors, About the Producer About the Producer![]() Jay Needham Needham received his M.F.A. from The California Institute of the Arts. His radio documentary Listening at the Border was a special presentation at Sonic Interventions in Amsterdam and was part of the Noise Theory Noise #2 Conference & Exhibition in London in 2004. It also aired on the WSIU Radio stations in January 2005 as part of Radio Voices, a local series showcasing original audio essays, commentaries, and other works by voices from the southern Illinois region. “Blacktop”, Needham’s narrative work for radio, has been streamed as a part of New Media Scotland’s Resonant Cities program and will be released as a part of Deep Wireless II in 2005 by New Adventures in Sound Art.
